70, The Parade

These black and white photographs were taken whilst living in a furnished house, with nearly all my possessions packed away except for the bare necessities. I enjoyed living in this house, it was very comfortable, but also very specifically decorated and furnished, it seemed a ready made experience like staying in a bed and breakfast or a small hotel, and I couldn’t get past this notion even after several months, to complete the experience the house also had mesmerising views across a green valley. These photographs record my being in this space and reveal the merest hints of my occupation.
